Opera recently announced the introduction of the crypto wallet into their Android Application available on the Play store. It is the first major browser to launch the crypto wallet into their system. The Wallet can be used to interact with Web3 Applications, i.e Decentralized Applications or Dapps.
You can download the latest version of the Opera Browser from the play store and can use the Wallet to interact with the Web3 Dapps which can be used to play games on blockchain or you might want to buy something from an E-commerce store. Even you can send or receive ethereum from one wallet to another, it’s just like sending money but through blockchain.
Ethereum is used as a prior coin for the wallet now, thanks to its prodigious blockchain technology backed up which can be used as smart contracts & Dapps. Though Opera might add more crypto wallet support in the future.
How To Use Opera’s Crypto Wallet

Download the Opera Browser into your Android Device
The first step is to download the Browser app into your smartphone using this link. Opera Browser is one of the leading browsers amongst the top web browser in the market. You don’t have to worry about security or privacy, the browser cover itself both.

Open the Opera Browser and click on the O in the Bottom right
The first time you open the application you won’t see the crypto wallet option in the expanded menu.

Click on the “Settings” option

Next, in the Settings Click on the “Crypto Wallet” Option.

Select the Open Wallet or Restore
You can rather restore a previous wallet or you can Open a new Wallet by selecting “Open Wallet” Option.

Enter new Security Pin
You will be asked to enter a security pin or fingerprint in order to secure the wallet.

You have successfully open Crypto Wallet in Opera
Now you can send or receive ethereum wallet and can also interact with the web3 Dapps.

[Important] Backup you Wallet
At this point, you must back up your wallet or you will lose one the opera application is uninstalled. Click on the “Gear” icon in the top right and select “Backup your wallet” option.

Write the Backup Phase on the piece of paper or somewhere safe
You can later restore your wallet from step 5.
